'How The West Was Read' | Ep. 2 WHISKEY WHEN WE'RE DRY

Whiskey When We’re Dry follows the story of an unlikely heroine, Jessilyn Harney, who finds herself in the precarious position of being orphaned and left to defend her family’s homestead. Jess disguises herself as a boy in order to cross the frontier and track down her outlaw brother Noah, in hopes of the two of them returning home together. Along the way, she is employed by the territorial governor, whose militia is also on the hunt for Noah. Jess’s journey will take her across the Great Plains and through an identity transformation from Jessilyn Harney to Jesse Straight.

I had to dust off my suit and top hat to bring you a history lesson about the Gilded Age and Robber Barons. But don’t you fret none. There’s no dress code required to watch the video.
